Mulberry’s Annual Education Lecture will take place at the RSA on 13th February.
At Mulberry, we believe strongly that education happens not just inside the classroom, but beyond it. We see a vital connection between education and industry. We believe that every sector of industry, from arts to engineering, media to finance, is closely connected to the work of schools. This annual event for our valued friends and partners explores the relationship of education with the wider world and celebrates the joy of learning.
This year, we are delighted to announce that our speaker is Samira Ahmed, an award-winning journalist with 20 years' experience in print and broadcast. She began her career at the BBC in 1990 and covered stories including the OJ Simpson case as BBC Los Angeles Correspondent. She went on to become a news anchor for BBC World and has presented many programmes, including The World Tonight and Sunday Morning Live. She also writes regularly for newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, The Independent and The Big Issue.
The event will provide opportunity for students to network with inspiring professionals from a range of sectors.
